The room was quiet, clean and comfortable, and the water got hot straight away. I stayed three nights in mid-November 2025 in ground-floor room #4, an end unit where you can park right by the entrance. The place has a 50s-60s feel, though it’s been updated. Check-in and checkout were easy, with checkout as simple as leaving the key in the room. There’s a mostly complete kitchen with a microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, glasses, plates and cutlery. Coffee, Ceylon tea and hot cocoa were provided, and the dishes were clean. The TV worked well, there was a handheld shower option, a patio with a sliding glass door, and laundry on site. My favorite touch was the wide layout and low table space, which let two people fully open their carry-on bags in a two-person room. That setup is a model other motels could copy. I liked the place and a few easy fixes would put it among the best. The weak points: Wi-Fi only worked about half the time, and outside light came into the room at night, especially from the parking side. The sink had an awkward hand sanitizer dispenser instead of soap, and there were no USB ports.
