Peter was a friendly, nice host, and we really appreciated that he made breakfast for us an hour before the listed time when he knew we had to check out very early and head to Fox Glacier. The rooms were clean and tidy, with a nice view.

Peter is a welcoming, friendly host, and the beds were comfy. Everything was clean and tidy. Great b&b, and we plan to stay again on our way back up the West Coast.

Peter was first class when we arrived, pointing us to the best place to eat and sharing other tips. We booked a week ahead for the wild food festival, and it was good not to have to pay in advance, though we did have the money. The accommodation was good, the breakfast first class, the shower exceptional, and the attention to little things fantastic. I did think $150.00 was a bit steep for what we got, but it was only a two minute walk to the festival. Peter even let me metal detect his property, and we found him a very old valuable coin. I do apologise for the spelling. Thanks, Peter, we enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend this accommodation to everyone. Richard and tamika.

The rooms were spacious and clean, with high ceilings. Peter is a superb host in every way. I'd come back if I passed through hokitika, and can recommend it to others.

The bed was the comfiest we've had, and the place felt like home. Wonderful spot, a very nice host, and a really good breakfast.
