The main road brings traffic noise around the clock, though being so close to town makes it easy to walk everywhere. The rooms are a good size and the bed was comfortable. It also got quite warm inside, so we had to open the windows. Still, it’s a perfectly nice place to stay in Hokitika.

The room was clean and comfortable, and restaurants and shops downtown were an easy walk away. On our two weeks of travelling, every Bella Vista we stayed at was pleasant and good value.

Ange is friendly and welcoming every time I visit, and the rooms have always been cleaned to a high standard. I’ve stayed at Bella Vista Motel in Hokitika many times over the last 18 months and have been impressed on each visit. I HIGHLY recommend staying here.

The room was clean, tidy and spacious enough for our small family, and the host was lovely. We had a great stay, with the town centre not far away.
