Frances and Brian made us feel looked after from the start, with homemade baking for afternoon tea when we arrived. They even arranged our evening meal at a local restaurant, then packed a tasty, nutritious, energy-filled lunch for the next leg of our Wilderness Cycle Trail ride. The house has a lovely old-world charm tied to local history. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

The breakfast was to die for, and the care Frances and Brian put into guests’ experience was excellent. They were consummate hosts, and the house was presented with outstanding attention to detail. Thank you both very much!

After a very wet bike ride to TreeTops, our group of six was welcomed by Frances and Brian. They took all our wet clothes to a special laundry room to dry. We loved the house, with an ensuite in each room and wall oil heaters. Afternoon tea, coffee and cookies with them was lovely, and they also gave us a fantastic breakfast and lunch to take on our bike ride the next day. We can’t praise them enough.

After a long day on the trail in rough weather, we arrived at Teichelmanns B&B cold and soaked. Frances was our fairy godmother, drying all our gear while we took hot showers and warmed up. The rooms were gorgeous and warm, and both breakfast and the packed lunch were superb. What fabulous hosts and accommodation. We highly recommend them and wish Frances and Brian all the best. The hosts made the stay special with their lovely company, tips, and stories. We also slept really well in a super cozy, comfortable room with beautiful decor. And breakfast was amazing: homemade granola, roasted tomatoes, crispy bacon, all cooked just right. Definitely recommend.
