North End Motel

The bed was comfortable and the room got plenty of sun. When we arrived it smelled lovely, so we assumed it was dated but clean, and a very pleasant Indian man showed us to the room. But the shower was awful, with only a dribble and no way to get the temperature right. The internet kept cutting out and was useless. The advertised price was $109, but we were charged $129. We’ve stayed at this motel for years when heading north, but never again. Jo and Ronn

We stayed for a week, and whenever we needed something, the owners and the lovely Samoan lady sorted it straight away. She went above and beyond for us. We’ll definitely be back.

For one work night it cost $129. The room was old and tired, though clean. The shower was rubbish, under 2 litres per min and impossible to set to the right temperature. Noise from the upstairs unit was just terrible. Even ordinary walking came through because there’s no soundproofing, and all human activity was really loud. I won’t be back.

Fresh smelling, clean and tidy. Lovely place, and I’ll book again.
