Cottage Park Motor Lodge and Conference Centre

They charged us $20.00 extra per night above the price we booked, which I wasn't prepared to pay. If it was their mistake, they should have honoured the booked rate and taken the loss. Arrival wasn't friendly, and the man was grumpy when I checked out. I won't be back. If you work with customers, you need to be friendly and honour your prices.

The place was clean and tidy, with heaps of room for families, and the people were friendly. Ask for David, he's a really cool bloke who knows the area. The surroundings are wonderful, and you can catch what I reckon is the world's best sunset by the beach. Highly recommend it, just ask David 😍😍

We turned up without a booking while our car was breaking down. The owner came straight out when we rang the bell, found us a room, and then helped sort out the car problem. He was a really nice man and a lifesaver. We stayed in a spotless one-bedroom cabin with a bathroom and kitchen. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed, plus complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar and more. The cabins were amazing. Best stay I've had, and I wish I could give more stars.

We'd mentioned when booking that we would arrive late, but reception still felt frosty when we got there. The bed was rock hard, and with the windows left open, we ended up with mosquitoes.
