We came for whale watching, and it was a short walk away. The room was spacious, with good cooking facilities and plenty of crockery and cutlery. The laundry was excellent and let us catch up on our washing, which we really appreciated. The supermarket and town are nearby too. I’d stay here again.

Our beds were very comfortable, and the staff were friendly. We had an affordable, clean suite with a kitchenette, a separate queen bedroom with its own TV, and a spacious main room with a king bed and sitting area. There’s also a washing machine on site.

Easy to walk into town, and the Wi-Fi was great. They even had their own Netflix account, which was amazing, plus air conditioning. This was our favourite place of the three-week New Zealand vacation. It was super affordable, we absolutely loved it, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone.

The bathroom felt cramped, with hardly any room to open the door, though the shower itself was good. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, and town was an easy walk away. I’d like to see more attention to the gardens, such as weeding.

After a long drive, the clear, easy-to-follow check-in instructions were just what we needed. We arrived at the Mondello well after hours, and communication was perfect and stress-free. The room was spacious, and the king bed was extremely comfortable. A lovely place to rest and reset in Kaikoura. Highly recommend.
