We had a lovely couple of days here for a whale-watching trip. Mick & Karen were fab hosts, and breakfast was lovely. The property had a great view, and it was an easy walk to all the places to eat and drink. Highly recommended.

The room was clean and really comfortable, with a lovely porch and beautiful garden, about a 5-minute walk from town. Mick and his wife made us feel so welcome, chatting with us over a delicious breakfast. Try their peanut butter cookies if you get the chance, and definitely take their advice on places to eat.

Mick and Karen are such good hosts, and breakfast was great, prepared with care. It’s an amazing B&B for anyone wanting a nice getaway. We’d definitely come back and recommend it.

The lovely garden and sweeping mountain views helped make Nikau Lodge a holiday highlight for us. Karen and Micks warm hospitality made us feel at home, and the rooms were comfortable and well appointed. We loved staying in Karen and Micks beautiful home.

Waking up to snow on the surrounding mountains was total bliss. We stayed in The Seal Room at Nikau Lodge, which had everything we needed. Karen and Mick made us feel very welcome, and our Eggs Benedict breakfast was delicious. They’d thought through every detail, making the stay really enjoyable. We loved it.
