Everything was there for us, and the apartment felt cozy and homey from the minute we walked in. We had such a great stay together, with a lovely atmosphere that made it even more special. It was so relaxing and comfortable, a stay we'll remember.

The three-bedroom place was clean, nicely equipped, and a really pleasant spot to stay. Zicky was great, and we'd happily come back.

The house was tidy and clean, but that was the only good part of our stay. I was 26 weeks pregnant and hoping for a peaceful break, yet the host's actions caused us a lot of stress. Money was charged to our card, and the host said they couldn't process the payment properly but went ahead with the charge anyway. When we brought it up, they didn't offer a reasonable fix. Instead, they sent an aggressive, shocking message: “I will come to your house, stand in front of you, refund the money you said from your husband’s card, and you can do a free cancellation and rebook other houses.” That was completely unacceptable. As paying guests, we should have been treated with respect. The host was dismissive and unprofessional, and made the whole situation feel hostile.

We never actually stayed, so I took a star off. The listing had looked promising, but after we'd booked, the owner called and asked us to cancel on our end. That disrupted our travel plans and was a very unusual request during our two-week trip around the beautiful South Island. Hope others have better luck.

The apartment was clean, very nice, and easy to access. Only wish we'd stayed for longer.
