It’s a spacious house in a great location, but it needs repairs and maintenance. The shower setup was dated and had no shower head. Four of the five beds in one room had broken springs, and the downstairs toilet door wouldn’t lock. There was no hand soap either. It would have been a much better stay if these things had been taken care of.

We had 10 adults and one child in the family, and the house never felt too small. It worked perfectly for our holiday. There was a good woodburner and a heat pump in the lounge, and together they warmed both floors. Each room also had its own little heater. The beds were comfortable and warm, though I wasn’t keen on the sheets in winter because they didn’t feel cozy getting into bed. Everyone has their own preference, of course. It had everything we needed for a holiday, and we really enjoyed staying there.

A clean, tidy, warm family holiday home. The fire kept it cozy. Thanks!
