Galaxy Lake View Studio

The view was nice, but the stay didn’t match the listing, and for the price we paid we left disappointed. We booked three nights expecting an entire holiday home, but it was actually divided, with another unit directly beside ours. A sliding door was the only separation, and the neighbouring unit was occupied. We could clearly hear the other guests, including children, which affected our privacy and experience. At arrival, another car was parked out front, so we weren’t sure we had the right property. Someone from the adjacent unit then asked us not to park near the garage, adding to the confusion since the listing said the whole home was included. We had to use a rear entrance and carry our luggage up a ramp, something the listing hadn’t clearly explained. We raised these issues during the stay and asked for a partial refund, but the request was declined. Booking.com gave us a small goodwill credit, while the host offered no resolution.

The upstairs double room is small, though the bathroom is large. The facilities are basic, with no separation between wet and dry areas, and the dining table wobbles. For the space, the room price feels out of proportion.

Fresh air was easy to enjoy thanks to the layout, and everything was clean. The lake view was lovely.

From the living room, I had a clear, unobstructed view of the lake.
