There’s a lot to like here, especially the spacious rooms, three bathrooms, and the location near all the spots we wanted to visit around Tekapo. We didn’t mind too much, and hope to return sometime. We left everything immaculately clean, as we’d want guests to do at any Airbnb we stay in. We arrived a little early, but the place wasn’t ready by the scheduled check-in time. The cleaner was still there, though nearly finished. Once we got the key and went in, we noticed a curry smell lingering in the house.

The bedrooms and bathroom were clean, and the accommodation was basic but in good condition, with a kit-home feel. It’s near Lake Tekapo. It heats up quickly on warm days, though there’s a split-system air conditioner to cool it down.

Booking was straightforward, and the space was beautiful for a reasonable price. We really appreciated the clear rubbish-sorting information in the well-thought-out info book :)
