Motel 22

We stayed the night before catching the ferry the next morning. The host was very friendly, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well supplied. The room was presented really well. It looks a little tired from outside, but from our perspective everything was good.

After reading the comments, I wondered what people were making of the showers. Now I know, it's a fantastic shower. The room was spacious, the kitchen was good and had a dishwasher, and the bed was comfortable. Sky TV, quiet at night, kind people, and so on. It's a great motel.

The owner and his wife were friendly, respectful and welcoming, and the location was excellent. I travel a lot for work and Wellington has often been difficult for finding a reasonably priced motel. I usually pay more than in other cities and get less quality. This time, some negative reviews made me unsure, but the price was very good, so I took a chance for two nights. It turned out to be one of my best decisions. The room exceeded my expectations and was better than other Wellington motels I've used, including much more expensive ones. For what I paid, it was spacious, clean and had everything I needed. It makes a real difference when the people running a place care. I highly recommend supporting them, and I'll definitely stay here again.

A friend recommended this place, and we had a pleasant stay. The room was modern, clean and affordable, with comfortable beds. It was quiet too, with free Wi-Fi and parking, and hot water. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great for families.
