Harbour Lodge

Jenny’s garden was incredible, and the view over Lyttelton made it hard to leave. We loved being so close to the town centre and went for a walk each morning. Frank was a gracious host, and the lodge was beautifully clean. The cereals and fruit for breakfast were a nice bonus. We absolutely enjoyed our stay here 😊

The harbour view room was beautiful and immaculate, and we loved the cinema room and gorgeous, fully functioning kitchen. Outside, the dining area had incredible views. My Husband had surprised me with a birthday trip, and this was the perfect place for it. Frank was by far the best host we've had, so lovely and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. We'd both recommend staying here 100%. Thanks, Frank! We'll see you again.

The patio overlooking Lyttleton Harbour was a wonderful place to relax, with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Our family members visiting from Melbourne stayed in three rooms for three nights while attending my daughter's wedding celebrations. Frank and Jenny welcomed us into their home and were warm, attentive and supportive without being intrusive. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and were serviced daily unless we signed to say it wasn't needed. Ensuites, heated towel racks and room heaters made the stay comfortable. There were cereals, yogurts, fruit, tea and coffee to start the day. The village and its services are within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay and commend Frank and Jenny when you're visiting Christchurch or Lyttleton.

The restaurants in Lyttleton are a 10 mins walk away. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean and in order, and the owner was friendly. There was fresh fruit, cereal, cookies, tea and coffee, plus a nice dog 🐕. Great view.
