Carly and KB are making their vision for the Motel happen. It’s friendly, relaxed, comfortable, clean and accommodating. The coffee pods and cookies were nice touches, and the quiet ceiling fan was a real hit on hot summer nights. We enjoyed staying here and hope to return before long. Thanks, guys. Lynley

Carly and KB were hospitable and efficient. They upgraded me to a bigger studio at no charge. It was clean, very comfortable and generally quiet, with air conditioning. A great, relaxing stay. Many thanks, Carly and KB!

There was parking in the courtyard, and Whangamata and beach exit 7 were within walking distance. My room was exceptionally clean, which gave me real peace of mind, and the extra space made for a comfortable, relaxed stay. I’d booked a queen room, but because a larger one was vacant, I was upgraded at no extra cost. A thoughtful gesture that made a great first impression.

The hosts clearly take pride in the place and go out of their way to make your stay feel just right. It's comfortable and really relaxed, whether you're stopping for one night on a trip or settling in for a longer break.
