I was woken at 3:15am by the family above us, probably getting ready for an early flight. Their small children were running around and the stomping came straight through; people talking in rooms could also be heard from the hallway. The noise insulation needs attention. Aside from that, the location, room comfort and food were all five-star, and the restaurant was lovely. The food there and in room service was amazing. My husband and I were incredibly impressed with the friendly, helpful and professional staff.

It was pricey, but so worth it. The room was beautiful and had lots of thoughtful details for a traveler. I was a hot mess after a very long day in the air and had messed up my booking, but the calm, lovely guy at reception helped me out at 2am. Couldn't ask for more.

I arrived just before midnight and had the best five hours of sleep I've had in years. Compared with Milan, it felt like absolute luxury. The room was lovely, clean and quiet, and the bed was fantastic. The shower door needs work because water leaked everywhere, but that's a first-world problem. I left early and would've slept all day if I could. Great stay, thanks.

The room was neat and clean, breakfast had some of the best options, and the laundry service was very convenient and worked perfectly. Customer service was excellent overall, aside from one person at the breakfast desk. We couldn't remember our room number, and she asked for our key card in a way that came across as rude. Still, everything else about our stay at Novotel Auckland Airport was spot on. I'd love to stay again.

The room was spacious, very clean and had a large bathroom, so we'll definitely stay again. Check-in was easy, and the front-of-house staff were friendly. They saw my wife struggling with our luggage and offered a cart. At checkout, they gave our four-year-old our room key as a souvenir, which was a lovely start to our 12-hour trip home.
