We loved how roomy the apartment felt, especially the huge, modern kitchen and the balcony set up for a BBQ. The views were spectacular and the restaurants were close by. The bathroom was shared, but spacious, with lots of towels. Sleeping arrangements were split between a bedroom and the open-plan kitchen and lounge. The bedroom bed wasn’t very comfortable, and we found quite a few cockroaches, even though the place looked clean and tidy.

The management was top-notch, and the location couldn’t have been better. We slept well on the bed and pillows. The photo shows the view from our lounge.

The wharf is right beside The Beach, so there are plenty of places to eat nearby, though almost everything shuts on Mondays. We could swim straight off the deck when the tide was in, and the ferry looked as though it was pulling up at our place. We stayed in this studio apartment, which has a mostly separate bedroom area. Its design, décor, and standard were excellent, and the location was outstanding.

Our bike group found these spacious apartments a great fit. They sit right on the edge of the estuary, with lovely amenities and gorgeous views to wake up to and enjoy in the evening. Restaurants and shops are very close.

We stayed in ‘The Beach’, a modern, comfortable, well-appointed apartment right on the water. It was so relaxing to watch the boats pass by. Mapua wharf is next door, with a great choice of eateries and shops. Great apartment and amazing location, highly recommended.
