Beauregard Cottages

Laurette made us feel at home, answered all our questions, and shared great suggestions for walks, restaurants, and sightseeing. Every one of those tips made for a memorable outing. She’s super friendly and clearly has a wonderful eye for style. We stayed at Beauregard Cottages twice and had an amazing time both visits. The cottages are modern, beautiful, and spacious inside and out, with everything we needed and stunning views of the surrounding scenery. The location is fantastic too, with spectacular walks right on the doorstep.

The cottage was clean and set up just right, and it was such a great place for a couple that I decided to stay an extra night. I rang Laurette to see if any cottages were free for a weekend night with my partner, and she was lovely on the phone, giving me all the details and keeping in touch. I was blown away when we arrived. Wow, I'd give it six stars if I could!

Laurette was attentive to what we needed and had helpful insight into local attractions. The cottage is a convenient four-minute drive from Matakana town centre, and it's a cozy spot for a couple, with a sofa bed if you're bringing up to three people. It can get a little stuffy in summer, though. We'd definitely stay again for another Matakana getaway.
