The shower wouldn't stay on consistently, which was the one reason for taking off a star, though maybe it saves water. The staff were kind and accommodating. We liked the fireplace in the shared area, and the garden with its mismatched patio furniture had an edgy feel. We arrived late and left early, but found the facilities clean and comfortable. A cool little spot before heading to Hobbiton.

The living room's fireplace made it feel cozy, and there was lots of natural light throughout. The kitchen was clean, with both gas and electric stovetops. The rooms felt new and were really nice. Everything was comfortable and clean, and the welcome was very friendly. I loved my stay.

The atmosphere was laid-back, and all the employees made us feel very welcome. Our room was clean and we liked how everything was set up. There was a good-sized clean kitchen and plenty of restrooms for everyone. One of the best hostels I've stayed in.

It's only about a five-minute walk from the Hobbiton tour meeting point. I stayed one night in a private room, slept really well in the comfortable bed, and found the heater just right for a chilly night. Fantastic stay, and I can't wait to come back!

The room was nice and the beds were comfy, with a social hostel atmosphere. The kitchen, showers, and other facilities were good, and the WiFi and ping pong table were great. The room was a little small and got hot at night. I wasn't too bothered, but the only window could either stay closed or open wide enough for someone to fit through, which didn't feel very secure if leaving valuables in the room.
