Quest Napier Serviced Apartment

We left just two hours after arriving because we weren’t willing to stay in a room that was so run down and dirty. The parking was a problem too: we’d booked expecting secure parking, only to be told there were just 11 secure spaces for more than 40 rooms and that we should have reserved one in advance. Nobody had told us that. Not acceptable for a four-star hotel.

The room worked really well for our family of two adults and a toddler, with plenty of space. We asked for an extra bed and it arrived quickly. The woman at the front was lovely and guided us through everything. The location’s handy too, just two minutes from Countdown and four minutes from the beach and restaurants. The rooms feel modern and are very spacious, with useful new appliances like a washer and dryer. We were delayed and missed our first night, but reception put a free night on my account for my next visit. I’d highly recommend staying here if you’re coming to Napier.

We had a good, spacious room and there were extra pillows if needed. The location is great too, a few minutes’ walk to the water and right by the city centre. Parking was the frustrating part. I’d emailed months ahead to book a spot and got confirmation, but on arrival they said none were available, apart from one for a motorcycle. We had to leave the car on the street, where parking ran from 8am to 8pm, so I had to get up early the next morning to pay again.
