We really enjoyed our stay at Clive Colonial Cottages. The hosts were welcoming and made sure we had what we needed. The cottages are comfortable, clean, cozy and well equipped, with a charming feel and lovely gardens. It was peaceful there, great for unwinding. Clive is convenient for exploring Hawke's Bay, with Napier and Hastings just a short drive away. I'd recommend it to couples or small families looking for a quiet getaway with some colonial charm.

We spent four nights in Tui cottage and loved the quiet garden setting. The cottage was well equipped, with a really comfortable bed and everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We liked seeing the hens wandering around, and hiring their bikes let us enjoy the trails. Rachel was a fantastic host. Thanks, we'll definitely be back.

Bellbird cottage was spotless, and the interior looked brand new. Our family of three had everything we needed, including a big shower, comfy beds, two quiet bedrooms and a kitchenette. The two porch areas were lovely for morning coffee. We had a terrific three-night stay and wished we could've stayed longer. The grounds were peaceful, with chickens roaming, and it was easy to walk or bike to the cycling track. The laundry facilities were useful too. Rachel and Tony were warm and welcoming, quick to respond, and helpful when we borrowed their great bikes. A real cottage gem.
