I stayed here before and after hiking Abel Tasman. The owner, who’s about to retire, was very pleasant and gave me free rides to the airport and car rental place. It’s an older property, but the bed was comfortable and everything worked, including the shower. There’s a small pool and a separate kitchen in the unit, and the neighborhood has a grocery store and a few decent restaurants. Road traffic was a little noisy one day. I’d stay again.

Comfortable chairs, great beds, and everything you need to cook. The rooms are great, with Sky TV and Chromecast, and it’s a handy base for Nelson. Highly recommend.

As a Dutch person who loves milk, lemon and lime, I felt especially welcome when they had these ready for us. The couple were super friendly, and the rooms were great. There’s a lovely pool and places to eat and drink within walking distance. The beach is walkable too, and bus stops are right outside. We loved it!

We came to Nelson for a dog trial and stayed here a week ago. The hosts were exceptionally accommodating, making sure we had a unit with a small yard where the dogs could relax. The welcome was warm, and the pool area was a lovely place to unwind on a warm afternoon. It’s well located near shops and the beach. Thanks for a great stay!
