We had a very good three-night stay at Chelsea Park Motor Lodge in Nelson, NZ. From there, it was about a 15-minute walk to the city centre, with shops, galleries, museums, and gardens all conveniently accessible. The room was clean and simply but thoughtfully furnished, with a small private garden and a cute bistro set. The bathroom had the needed supplies, and there were enough towels on the electric drying rack. The kitchenette had a fridge, microwave, stovetop, and electric frying pan, and the internet worked very well. Staff were helpful and friendly, and we could use the laundry for a small fee. Parking is tight, so arriving earlier in the afternoon is a good idea. One day we couldn't find a space, but the owner kindly let us use the one reserved spot. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had an upstairs one-bedroom spa room, which was really spacious and had a lovely sunny balcony. The motel is an easy walk from town, and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. We loved staying here and would definitely recommend it.

We managed to get a room, though it was a little small. The kitchen was practical and had everything we needed, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a pleasant motel within walking distance of downtown, and we'd love to return.

The team were friendly and accommodating throughout our four days at Chelsea Park in Nelson, and Carey, the owner, gave us some great ideas for places to see. Our room was very clean, with daily service that we really appreciated. My partner and I enjoyed the stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

The apartment was relaxing and well appointed, with clean rooms and lovely windows that let in the breeze. It takes about ten minutes to walk to town or the supermarket. There are five bikes available to reserve for 25 nzd a day. There are no Ubers here, so arrange a rental or pick up the taxi business card at reception. The owners and staff live nearby and respond even in the evening.
