Breakfast in the garden with that view over Nelson was a real highlight. The two owners were lovely and had plenty of tips for things to do in town and nearby. Such a great place to stay. Book by phone if you want to avoid company surcharges :)

I used to host a B&B myself and thought I was pretty attentive, but these people have thought of everything. The decor, garden and amenities are lovely, and there’s plenty of space and privacy. I’m so taken with the place. We only booked one night because our itinerary had us moving every day, and now I’m kicking myself. You’ll be glad you stayed here.

That driveway was incredibly narrow and twisty, the one thing we weren’t keen on. Otherwise, the room had a brand new soft carpet, the AC worked well, and the little fridge was useful. Great shower too. Breakfast was a decent continental spread, especially the muesli.
