A really happy camper here. We had a small cabin, which was nice and basic, just what we paid for, with good bedding and pillows. The park is smaller than other Top 10s, but they use the space well. I didn’t use the kitchen, so can’t comment on it, but the place was spotless and I saw several staff cleaning and fixing things. The facilities and service were top notch. A lovely woman greeted us and asked how we were doing and where we were headed, and there was even a vending machine for drinks. Toilets and showers were stunning, with light-up mirrors, hair dryers, marble-like shower tiles and two privacy options. Best holiday park toilets I’ve seen. Laundry was good, nothing out of the ordinary. Thanks, Top 10 Nelson.

Nelson city top 10 felt just like home. It’s a little smaller than most Top 10 places, but so clean and well kept. The staff were kind, helpful, and really nice. The bathrooms and showers were super clean, and there’s a full kitchen with a BBQ, outdoor deck and lounge room. I did laundry twice and hung our clothes on the line. It’s a great base for checking out Nelson or Abel Tasman park, about 1 hour 15 minutes away. I’d highly recommend it.

The facilities were great, and everything was well cleaned. Each site even has its own dump station, which was a surprise, and the dryer actually gets the job done in one cycle. Usually I need two elsewhere. The laundry payment system was a hassle, though. The new cashless setup takes far too many clicks on your phone, even when it works, and adds a credit card surcharge I never asked for. I’d much rather pay with cash or just swipe a card. Quite a few people were struggling with it while I was there.

The place was great otherwise, but our cabin was right next to the kids’ playground. Kids playing there wasn’t a problem, but the noise before 8am was a downer. They have so many rules, so it was disappointing that there wasn’t one about playground hours.

A really nice, quiet community feel, and a high standard throughout. The park isn’t large, but it was comfortable, very clean and had fantastic service. We never had to wait for the showers or toilets. Best caravan or holiday park I’ve stayed in.
