The place is beautiful and handy for families or corporate stays alike. My room was nice and had air conditioning, and the hospitable receptionists were helpful when I needed advice about the area. I'd definitely come back and recommend staying here if you're passing through or on holiday.

The Beachcomber is a very nice place in a luxury location, with a heated pool. Rooms are generally nice, though some aren't as good as others. Each has a fridge, pantry, toaster, frying pan, pot, and one toilet. It felt very safe, with keys for getting into our room and the hotel.

The rooms were clean and clearly updated, and the service was great. Sky access and the shower water pressure were both great too. There was a lot of remodeling and construction during our stay, but it didn't affect us. They even offered free breakfast for the inconvenience. I'd absolutely stay again.

You can't beat this location for the price, especially for families. There's a pool, and the main street and beach are easy to reach. We had the Premium Studio with air con, which is a must on hot nights. The patio wasn't useful since there wasn't really a view. The Kitchen Studio had a good view but no air con. The rooms are comfortable without being fancy, so you're not worrying about the kids damaging things. I'd come back for the location.

We didn't use the hotel pool, but it was available. The rooms were clean and modern, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. There's guest laundry and a dryer. It's right at the beach, about a 10-minute drive from Nelson City Centre or an hour's walk.
