The hosts are great, and there’s a lovely meal waiting at the end of the day. Granity also gives you access to plenty of places with beautiful scenery and a look into the lives of the pioneers, as well as the men and women who worked hard in an important part of New Zealand’s economy until recently. Come to Granity for the hospitality too, which is missing from a lot of holiday spots.

We keep coming back with the family. I’ve never had a better fillet mignon, and the view is excellent. On a nice day, it’s worth taking a walk along the beach right next door.

The food is great, and so are the service and the very friendly staff and owners. It’s a great cafe restaurant right by the beach, with awesome views. Take a stroll on the beach while you’re there.

The view was nice, though the place was hard to find. When I asked where the fish came from, they seemed really confused. I get the impression that “fresh” here means “not frozen.”

The chalets have an amazing view, and it’s a stunning spot to stay. The food is awesome too, really worth recommending. Definitely worth staying here.
