Breakfast was amazing, and Jan gave us great suggestions for the drive to and from Breakers. We also loved being able to head straight down to the private beach and follow the coast to the stream's waterfall where it meets the sea. The room had stunning sea views, was very clean, and had everything we needed. We’d pre-ordered the homemade pizza, and it was delicious, ready for us when we arrived. It felt like paradise. We only wish we’d booked more than one night. I can’t recommend it enough.

Jan had lots of helpful ideas for hikes and sightseeing, and made delicious pizzas in the evenings. Breakfast each morning came with a wide range of choices. Our sea-view accommodation was fantastic too. We caught a beautiful sunset one evening, then watched a stunning moonset the next morning. We had a wonderful time. Thank you!

Jan serves a delicious breakfast and gave me really good advice on places to visit in the area, including ideas for the drive to Breakers. The room was very good, and the setting right by the sea, with its own beach entrance, made my stay a perfect one. Such a beautiful place to stay!

Jan had great tips for things to see and quieter hiking tracks a little off the beaten path. We were also upgraded because a room was available, and both the pizza dinner add-on and breakfast were fantastic. The spot was ideally placed between hiking areas to the north and south, so we got to see a lot of the West Coast. From Breakers, we could go straight to the beach and tidepools full of starfish, with an amazing view along the way. A lovely quick getaway!

Jan was a wonderful holiday planner, full of ideas for activities and short or long hikes around the area. This was a great base for exploring the west coast, and we wished we’d booked at least 3 nights instead of the 2 we stayed. Still, it’s worth setting aside a day to relax at the accommodation, take in the view, or walk along the beach. We enjoyed a glass of wine on the sea-view terrace. Our spacious room was in the annex, with seating, a refrigerator, and plenty of bathroom space. The bed was very cosy, and the furnishings and colour schemes were stylish. Jan’s breakfast was incredible. We’d never stayed at a B&B that offered a breakfast menu before, and the eggs Benedict on kumara hash were absolutely delicious. It was an enchanting place on New Zealand’s wildly romantic west coast, and a unique experience. If we come back, we’ll stay longer. Thank you, Jan.
