We booked a few days away for our wedding anniversary and the Ocean View Motel at Ōhope Beach was such a find. Our penthouse had an amazing ocean view, with the beach just across a very quiet road. The unit was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The staff were lovely.

Glynnis made us feel so welcome, and we loved our three-night stay. The room had everything we needed. From there, we could take in sweeping views of Ohope Beach, listen to the sea, and watch the waves. We'd definitely come back.

Our room had a deck with outdoor furniture facing the view, and it was lovely. The staff were friendly and knew the area well. The beach is right across the road, and we'd be happy to stay here again.

We had a clean, comfortable unit with plenty of towels and bedding. From one side we could see the beach, and from the other, native forest. Glynis left us some treats and shared local recommendations that helped us feel at home. This was my second time booking at the motel. On my first visit, a double booking came up, but Glynis kindly arranged other accommodation in the same area for the same price. This time, my booking was moved to another location the other day, then changed back to the original one. I didn't ask why and trusted Glynis to sort it out.
