I wouldn't book Beachfront Bliss again, although I liked the host. The property is directly across from a beautiful, wide beach that was relatively calm. The room felt light and fresh, the bathroom was clean, fresh, and well lit, and the bed was comfortable with outlets on both sides. The a/c was easy to control and worked well. Robin was especially helpful with information about the area, hikes, and restaurants. I didn't feel there was enough privacy. The bed was beside a window entry, so the room didn't feel private unless the drapes were closed. There was also a door into the owners' home that didn't seem soundproofed. I could see light through the door jamb and underneath it. The bathroom fan was really loud.

Beachfront Bliss really does say it all. We had a lovely, relaxing stay, with beach walks and the sea just across the road, lulling us to sleep. Robin kept the room quiet, restful, and spotlessly clean. We walked up the road for a meal and didn't want to leave. We'll come back for another stay one day. Thank you, Robin.

We stopped here overnight on our journey, and the beautiful beach was just 10 feet away. Robin was a great host. Our room was at the side of the house and had its own private ensuite. Definitely recommend.

For $150, we got a poky little bedroom with an ensuite inside someone's house. It was advertised online and in the room itself as $140. The table and chairs were outside, which was no use when we arrived in the cold and dark, and there was no table indoors to sit at for a meal. Whenever someone in the house used the toilet, the water ran very loudly against the wall, all evening. Loud conversations inside the house made the stay unpleasant. The glammed-up photos don't change what it is: a very small room and a rip-off.

A lovely place and a lovely host. We had a quiet retreat, soaking up the sun when we could and reading inside when the weather turned bad, as it did for us.
