Oneroa village is a short walk away, so we could easily find anything we needed. The little studio at number two Tiri Road had everything we needed for our Christmas getaway on Waiheke Island, and it’s beautifully designed, especially the immaculate bathroom. My one suggestion would be a better mattress. The box spring reacted to every movement, so our sleep was interrupted each night. We checked the guest book and didn’t see anyone else mention restless nights, so perhaps we’re just used to ultra-comfy beds.

We loved being able to open the sliding doors all the way and let that incredible garden view from the back deck come inside. The spot was convenient but quiet. A great stay.

The owners were very friendly, especially Maggie. After I’d been shopping in Countdown, she saw me walking down the road and kindly gave me a lift back to the accommodation. The holiday house was really nice and much cheaper than the other holiday houses.
