The pool and spas were pristine, and the views were beautiful. Our room was lovely, with everything we needed, plus a shower that was SO good and a comfy bed with great pillows. The staff made us feel really welcome. Thanks for looking after us so well. I’ll definitely come back and recommend the place to family and friends.

That room had a wonderful view, but I can’t say it made up for the mattress. The springs seemed to dig into my bones all night, like sleeping on slabs of Coke cans, and I woke up feeling really sore. Thank goodness there was a Thai massage place underneath.

The manager’s response when we mentioned the dirt was that we were “fussier than most.” It came across as dismissive and unprofessional. The apartment was dirty when we arrived, and cleanliness is a basic expectation. It put a real damper on our stay.

The building sticks out like a sore thumb, but the apartment itself is very smart. There’s parking in the block, and you’re right by the beach, shops, and restaurants. For a place at the beach with limited amenities, it’s spot on. Perfect.

The sea views were pretty cool first thing in the morning, which is a shame because the rest was disappointing. I’ve never slept on a bed this uncomfortable. It felt like a warehouse mattress, with every spring poking through. Room service wasn’t great either, and I stay in a lot of hotels for work.
