We were quoted a price over the phone months before booking and told to pay on arrival, but the rate was $50 a night higher when we got there. That stinks. I stayed four nights, and when I returned after the first day, my cpac had been moved and the fan I'd left on to cool the room from in front of the window had been turned off. There was no air-conditioning. The jug and cups came with tea, coffee, milk, and sugar, no more and no less. The shower head was White. Wouldn't stay again!

The woman behind the bar, sheryl, was really rude. My friend hadn't ordered a single drink that night, but when I went to get another drink, she told me she was cutting my friend off. We left. Horrible attitude, and I wouldn't recommend going when she's on shift.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the rates seemed fair. This place has a proper old-fashioned feel, with high ceilings and plenty of history. It's right in the middle of town, which is handy. I'd say it works well for a night or two.

I was recording my time at the club for family memories, and the video shows I never went up to order a drink. Then my friend went to get one and came back saying I was being cut off. Cut off from what, fresh air? 😂😂😂 I don't even want to give this place a star. The red-haired woman behind the bar was rude.

The main thing this hotel has going for it is its age. Parking is scarce at night and there isn't any free parking during the day. The cooking facilities were poor, there was no laundry, and the staff weren't very helpful. We booked online, then were charged another $40 when we arrived. I'd give less than one star if I could.
