The view was beautiful, and the place was quiet. I had a big, clean and comfortable room with five bedrooms, and the price seemed fair. I really loved it. Came for the weekend and had a great time. Definitely worth a visit.

The pool is only small, but at four feet deep there was plenty of water for fun. We were also really pleased to find a three-bedroom unit that worked so well for our group: a mother, daughter and two grandsons. We stayed two nights in a safe, quiet spot at the end of a no-exit street, close to a shopping centre with two supermarkets and some good restaurants nearby. It can sleep seven, though with just one bathroom I wouldn't choose that setup for more than a night or two. The shower has no mixer, so getting the temperature right took a lot of fiddling and wasted water. Otherwise, no complaints.

The receptionist was so lovely. To make our journey more comfortable, they upgraded the three of us from a one-bedroom unit to a three-bedroom one. Thank you.

We keep coming back to this as our favourite place to stay in Whangarei. The beds are brand new and have charging plugs on the bedside tables. Everything is clean, tidy and quiet, and the lady at reception always greets us with a warm smile. My kids tend to leave things behind, and the owner either posts them to us or keeps them safe until our next visit. 🙏

The free washing machine and dryer came in really handy, and I appreciated getting fresh towels every day during my three-night stay. My studio was neat and clean, with kitchen facilities that were just right for one person. The receptionist was lovely and welcoming. It's an easy walk to two supermarkets and nearby restaurants. The pool is small, but a refreshing place to cool off on a hot day. 👍🏽
