So far, this is the best holiday park we’ve stayed at. The hosts were friendly, the grounds were well looked after and the facilities were top notch. They’ve really thought of everything. It’s an easy walk into town, too. Highly recommend.

When we went to book in, the man at the desk was very rude to the customer ahead of us. He asked if we were with that person, and when we said no, he said they were fully booked and told us to leave. We’ve stayed at different campgrounds for over 40 years. I checked the website afterwards and saw they did have vacancies. I’ll also be posting a review on the TOP 10 website and NZMCA.

I spent a week here in August in a motel studio. It was relaxing, in a suburb with bush behind it that leads down to the river. The units are fairly old, but roomy, clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a heated towel rail and hooks for clothes, and the shower pressure was great. Wi-Fi was good, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. There can be traffic noise from a nearby road, but I only noticed it during the day.

We’ve stayed at Top 10 lots of times and love the friendly atmosphere. Since our last visit, they’ve built a new playground. The music in the ablution block was playing softly.

A lovely, intimate Top 10, with bushwalks as well. The receptionist was very helpful, and there’s fun for kids on site. We found a shaded spot for our caravan, which made a huge difference and let us happily stay a few extra nights. It’s peaceful, and everyone was respectful the whole time. Great place all round! 🥰🌟
