Bella Vista Motel Whangarei

The room was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed, and the free washing machine was a nice extra. Bella Vista Whangārei is close to the city centre, with easy highway access. We felt the stay was well worth the price. Cindy made us feel welcome straight away with her warmth, bubbly personality and readiness to help at any time. JJ was great too, always on hand when we needed something. They greeted us kindly and even opened a room early so we could store our belongings safely. They suggested several restaurants, and every one was top notch. The customer service and attention to detail were hard to fault. Wonderful staff and an impeccably clean place. We'd highly recommend Bella Vista Whangārei to anyone staying in the area.

The rooms are a little small, but very comfortable and have what you need. My wife especially liked the bathroom's lit mirror, which she could actually use for her hair and makeup. It sounds like a simple thing, but even expensive hotels often overlook it. The staff member was brilliant and went above and beyond. I left a jacket in the room, and she forwarded it to a motel we'd be staying at later in the trip, where I collected it. Such fantastic, unexpected care. The motel is a short drive from the town centre. We didn't do much sightseeing, apart from visiting the falls.

The location was so convenient, and the service was great. I arrived to check in during the last half hour before reception was due to close, and they were very accommodating. They even gave my partner and me two car spaces, which I was grateful for. Our room was exceptionally clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

We were jet-lagged and just needed a rest. The room was perfectly clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast the next morning was great. Exactly what we needed.
