Waitomo Golfstays B&B

Breakfast in the suite made early starts easy, and the beds were clean and cozy. The host handled check-in nicely and efficiently. It’s a clean, peaceful B&B that suits people who want quiet and independence. I’d recommend it for smaller, quieter groups.

I stayed here on NY’s Eve 2025 after visiting Waitomo Glowworm caves, about a 10 m drive away. The views were beautiful, and it was so quiet that the place had a Zen like feel. My little room had everything I wanted and more. It was tidy and very clean, and breakfast was a lovely continental spread. Pam was a delight and available whenever I needed anything. I’d highly recommend staying here and would come back if I were in the area.

Pam even lent us beach towels for our trip to the underwater glow-worm caves, and we felt extremely welcome from the start. The location was lovely and worked perfectly for our one night there. The room was spotless, and there was a good range of continental breakfast items. On our tour around NZ, we’d usually found milk and sometimes bread provided, so the cereals, yogurt, and fruit juice were a nice bonus. It might feel a bit small for a longer stay, and the kitchen facilities are limited. For a couple of nights in such a good location with welcoming hosts, though, it was perfect.

Quiet, tucked away, and comfortable. I loved staying here. It’s a great spot if you’re visiting Waitomo Caves or just passing through.
