The studio had everything I needed, and the motel sits on a quiet road close to all the essentials. There’s also a barbecue area and outdoor seating. James was fantastic and even let me leave a bag there for a few days. I’d planned on two nights, but liked it enough to stay longer.

The owners were absolute legends, and after so many kilometres on the road, the place was a lovely surprise. I slept really well in the super comfy bed, and the shower was amazing. It had everything I needed.

The room and beds were clean, and the beds were properly made. My partner and I were happy with that. It’s simple and nothing fancy, but suits a one-night stop if you’re after somewhere affordable before heading off the next day. That’s what we did.
