The kitchen is properly equipped, with long counters, a full set of dishes, utensils and cookware, even a potato masher. There’s an oven, a dining table for four, a couch that converts to a bed, a king bed and two twin beds. Lots of options for sleeping, fluffy pillows and a very clean space made for a peaceful rest. The design and layout make sense. The desk lady refunded the first night that we couldn’t use without any hassle. Thanks, Bayview Motel, for the thought put into the design, feel and customer service. The only hard part was leaving. We wish we could’ve stayed two nights, and hope the owner gets better soon. Our thoughts are with you. ❤️💕

We had our 9 month old with us, and everything was easy. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the staff made us feel really welcome. It’s a lovely spot overlooking the ocean, with everything close enough to walk to.

The man from England who manages this lovely motel was incredibly obliging. He even made calls to help sort out a problem with my Travelex card. The view over the Bay of Islands is beautiful, and I’d certainly stay here again.

The bay is just a stone’s throw away, and the location’s hard to beat. Our room was spacious and clean, and the kitchen came in handy.

We stopped in for dinner and had a great time. The food was delicious, and the staff were so warm and welcoming. It’s a stunning location too. Highly recommend!
