The reception and housekeeping staff were super lovely. It's a great, centrally located motel, and the bathroom has been updated, though the older building has its quirks. Squeaky floorboards are to be expected, but we also heard a lot of noise, like a bass or something. Luckily, that was only bad on one of our two nights.

For the price, this is an awesome spot: very central, clean and with friendly staff. There was some road noise, and the bigger issue was that the rooms are above the event space. If there's an event, things quiet down by midnight at the latest. One tip: when you walk in, the office is behind you on your left. I missed it, though most people are probably smarter than me!

Booked the function room for a 21st. The room was great and the staff were fantastic. Couldn't fault it.

Good people, and the bar was spotless and well kept. The Masonic could become our new local.

The room was compact, but it had all the useful basics, including a heated blanket, microwave, kettle, fridge, utensils, and a desk that worked. It was clean and tidy, with daily cleaning to a high standard, and the internet was pretty good. I also liked the free cold-water station, and the price was excellent for what you get. The location made it easy to get around, with free parking options both locked and on the street. The staff were friendly and very accommodating, making the stay feel homey. Thanks so much to Murray and the team at Masonic. I’ll definitely stay again on future trips.
