Dream Escape For 2

A lovely host, very hospitable, and even breakfast, coffee and biscuits were provided. The room was quiet, neat and tidy, and it’s good value for the money, especially when the spa is working. There’s no TV, though they do have Wi-Fi, so you can watch movies on your phone. The spa bath was there, but unfortunately it was out of order during our stay.

We had three days of relaxing fun, with privacy and thoughtful amenities, including a bookcase full of books for rainy days. The accommodation is worth twice what it costs. After a day out, it was lovely to soak in the spa at Dream escape, then sit in the private courtyard with a glass of wine and watch the sunset through the trees. Kapiti Island is worth visiting, and the boat is an easy walk along the esplande. There’s plenty to see around town too, including local shops and an unexpected find like an 1920's Ideal Sewing Machine. Raumati is good for coffee, and Paraparaumu for dinner.

The mattress was amazing, and I had the best sleep I’ve had in ages. It’s a lovely, relaxing place and just a stone’s throw from the beach. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Everything was beautifully set up, with thought given to all the little considerations. The hosts were extremely accommodating and looked after my MTB while we went to Kapiti Island.
