The kitchen and bathroom had good supplies, and I appreciated getting a bottle of fresh milk instead of little UHT portions. The units were spotless and comfortable, with a good bed and plenty of hot water and shower pressure. We’ve stayed at Aveda Motor Lodge before and plan to return. The management and cleaning team were friendly too. Had a great two-night stay and would definitely recommend it.

The team were so kind and helpful, including letting us check in early without an extra charge. My husband was having surgery, and being close by mattered a lot to me. I really appreciated how they looked after us.

We loved the spa bath, and the room itself was good. It was clean and tidy, and handy to town. The downside was being on the ground floor: we could hear a child running around and chairs scraping in the room above. Still a good place to stay. Next time we’ll ask for an upstairs room.

The rooms were spacious and kept in great shape. One of the nicest places I’ve stayed, and I’d happily come back.

A great place to stop when heading out of Auckland and not wanting to stay in the city. Everything felt fresh and comfortable, and it was very clean. The staff were lovely, and having a guest laundry was handy. I’d stay again.
