There's a coffee cart on site, which was a nice touch. The kitchen is the best feature after the location: two large, clean kitchens with cupboards for storing your things, handy when the tent pitches are so far from the facilities. There are lots of fridges, but just one freezer, full of staff items, so guests had to struggle to find room. Plenty of tables and some couches along the walls, but no proper lounge. That was a problem when the kitchen and dining space got loud, and there was nowhere else to sit when it rained. There's no playground for kids, just a small play corner in that noisy kitchen-dining room. The laundry was spotless and you can pay by card. Toilets and showers were very clean, with good pressure and hot water. The grass plots are flat and easy to pitch on, but VERY far from the amenities, so tent campers need a walk for everything. Self-contained campers are closer. The location is amazing, right in the middle of queenstown, with everything nearby and no need to move the car.

We stayed in the superior one-bedroom mountain-view unit, which was nicely furnished and extremely clean. The precast concrete walls kept the room very quiet. These room types don't have kitchen facilities, so for a few days we bought a kitchen pack with a toaster, cutlery, plates, and bowls. Tea and coffee were included. The location is great value, a few blocks from the city centre and a short walk to the Skyline Gondola, with views back towards the Remarkables. For late arrivals, check your email for instructions on collecting the key from a secure spot to the right of reception.

The facilities were great, and it's an easy walk to the gondola and Kiwi Park. Our motorhome spot felt crowded, though, with hardly any room or grass on either side. We were glad we didn't stay more than two nights.

Good for a night in Queenstown overall, with clean facilities and nice showers. You can walk to everything in town. Just don't arrive before noon: they made us wait even though the place was empty, and 20 cars were backed up around the roundabout. Completely stupid.
