I really appreciated that they recognised my Hilton Gold Member loyalty, and the staff throughout were friendly and welcoming. I stayed in a Hilton Deluxe Room, which was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location is beautiful, with lovely lake views, and it’s convenient for the airport. Both onsite restaurants had great food and atmosphere. I can’t wait to return to Hilton Queenstown.

Johara, the manager, deserves a special mention. She was warm, professional, and genuinely caring, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Her hospitality lifted the whole experience. The hotel is beautiful, well maintained, and very comfortable, with thoughtful details throughout, from the rooms to the service. The views were breathtaking. Waking up to the lake and mountains felt unreal and made the trip special. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at.

We spent seven nights here and were impressed by the service. Ensi deserves a special mention for always getting my matcha with coconut milk just right, and for being so friendly and helpful at the restaurant throughout our stay. The hotel is close to the airport and has an amazing view of Lake Wakatipu. Great location and service, and we hope to come back.

We used the free onsite parking in the designated area when we found a spot. Breakfast had plenty of options, and the outdoor area overlooking the views was a lovely place to have a drink and relax. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The resort was a great place to unwind, away from town, with a short ferry crossing for $14. We highly recommend Wakatipu Grill, where we had some of the best food of our NZ trip. Can’t wait to return.

The help from the front desk made a strong first impression, especially Sophia, who went out of her way to make me feel welcome and valued. I stayed at Hilton Queenstown on January 11, 2026, and as a Hilton Lifetime Diamond member, it was one of my most memorable Hilton stays anywhere. I’d booked late, so I spent one night at DoubleTree Queenstown and one at the Hilton. Concierge Tusar made the change seamless by transferring my bags between hotels, a thoughtful gesture that mattered. I was lucky to get what felt like the best room in the house, with stunning lake views and treats including chocolates and fruit. The whole team showed kindness and pride in their service. They made my Queenstown stay unforgettable, and I look forward to returning.
