It's a small inn near the gondola, with a comfortable sitting room where they put out wine, beer and snacks for happy hour. We asked about a laundry machine and the staff offered to do the laundry for us. The room was nice, the staff great, and the location made for an easy walk downhill to downtown restaurants and attractions. There are only around three onsite parking spaces, so you may need to use the street or a nearby car park. I'd stay again without hesitation.

We booked two rooms, and the whole place had a lovely mix of B&B warmth and hotel comfort. Afternoon happy hour in the lounge came with charcuterie, wine and tea, and guests would sit around chatting about their day. Breakfast was included, as were snacks and drinks in the rooms. There aren't guest laundry facilities, though staff said I could use theirs in the back if needed. Getting around was easy. Turn right for the gondola or bowling; turn left and go down the stairs for Fergburger and the lake right in front. No need to drive into town and deal with parking.

The rooms were beautiful, with gorgeous wallpaper and furniture, and the beds were really comfortable. Staff were super friendly, and the cozy common area was a nice place to spend happy hour. The free minibar, snacks and happy hour were all great perks. The location is spot on, two minutes from the gondola and about five minutes from the lakefront. I'd definitely stay again.

We stayed six nights and had a great room, free parking, and an easy walk into the centre. The self-service bar was great, and happy hour came with complimentary drinks and snacks. Staff were really friendly and helpful too. I'd recommend the hotel to friends.

We spent three nights here and got super service throughout. Bryan, the manager, deserves a special mention. He's the nicest and most helpful person we've met during three weeks of travelling around New Zealand.
