Janet made us feel welcome right away, and the breakfasts were a real highlight. There was something different and carefully made each morning, from fresh bread and homemade yogurt to hot dishes. Those caramelized banana pancakes are going to stay with me. The coffee roasted on-site was excellent too, and Chris's home-brewed beer was delicious and nicely balanced. The Embassy B&B is a comfortable, immaculate home with lovely decor, mixing rustic charm with an easy, relaxed feel. Indoor shared spaces are roomy, and there's a lovely deck for sitting and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. It's a quiet, tucked-away place that also works well as a base for exploring the area. We had a shared bathroom, but the shower and toilet were in separate areas, which worked better than expected. We hardly crossed paths with other guests there, so it often felt like having a private master suite. The bed and quality linens made for great sleep. The warm, relaxed atmosphere made this one of our most welcoming B&B stays. We'd gladly return and recommend it to anyone visiting.

Janet and 'miss kitty' really went out of their way for us, and the breakfasts were delicious each morning. Our room was cozy, comfortable and spotlessly clean, with its own bathroom. The decor was lovely, and I especially liked being able to make an afternoon coffee at the coffee station and take in the amazing view from the deck. There was also a small fridge and microwave on the deck for guests.

Room 1 faced the lake, and waking up to the birds at dawn and that incredible view was a treat. The view from both indoor and outdoor sitting areas is unbeatable. The room was comfortable, spotless and thoughtfully laid out. We loved our two nights here, just outside the main town. Breakfast kept us full until dinner, with wonderful homemade bread, granola and more. Janet took great care of us, and we appreciated her hospitality and advice.

Janet looked after us and all the other guests so thoughtfully. The B&B has beautiful views, warm, cozy rooms and clean bathrooms. Breakfast was delicious, and there's a friendly little cat too. Thanks so much, we'd love to stay again someday.

Leaving was hard, but I'll be back. As a full-time traveler, I found this place incredibly cozy and clean, with stunning views of the lake. The hosts were the real highlight, such a kind and friendly couple, and they have the cutest cat. A must-stay in queenstown.
