Our apartment was spotless, with the comfiest beds and pillows, and the owners were really nice and helpful. It had two bedrooms, plenty of parking, and a lovely balcony overlooking the well-maintained pool. The park and town are within walking distance. The smaller bedroom faces the road, so it was a little noisy in there.

We stayed over Christmas as a family of four. The room suited our needs, was nice and clean, and the kids loved the pool. The motel has a pleasant coastal feel. The owners were good to deal with, and we enjoyed chatting with them. You can tell they put effort into running the place well. See you next time.

Brian, the owner, made us feel welcome and was super friendly. The Parkside Motel was immaculate, and everything was so well kept that the whole stay went smoothly. We had an awesome time and would definitely stay again.

Brian is the nicest bloke, and our room was clean and cosy. My daughter and I had an incredible night away. I'll definitely be back.

I was in Nelson for a tournament with about ten others, and got one of the bigger rooms near the pool. While I was alone in the room, I heard tapping on the wall and thought it was one of my teammates, but everyone was upstairs. Later, five of us were watching TV when the tapping started again. We realized it was the pipes in the wall. They were really loud when trying to sleep. Still, it's such a nice place overall, and the owners are lovely.
