Away from the main road, so road noise wasn't an issue. The rooms were tidy and clean, and the spa baths were a bonus. Laundry facilities were available too. We'll definitely come back, but next time we'll book adjoining rooms so our whanau aren't split between upstairs and downstairs.

There are probably reasons the rooms are cheap. Mine was dark and dirty, with mould in the bathroom and a leaky ceiling from the room above. The place feels too worn and needs refurbishing. The bed was very hard, so I slept badly, and the walls were thin enough that I could hear other guests and all the plumbing late at night.

The rooms were great and worked well for families. Staff were lovely and very friendly. Room service came by each morning to replenish what we needed, and when we asked to extend our stay, they were happy to let us keep the same room. We highly recommend it.

A good-sized room for a family and good value for the cost. The spa was the best part for us, and room service was friendly and good. Most things were very clean, though after moving furniture to put in the heater, we found a cookie that wasn't ours. The location is handy for the city, a supermarket, restaurants and tourist spots. Parking is available, but arriving late at night could leave you without a space.
