Quest Rotorua Central

The biggest pluses were the clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff and great location. The building and rooms are quite dated and need refreshing, though. We heard a neighbouring room's washing machine in the evening, but fortunately it was a short cycle. The elevator felt rickety, and reception closed at 4pm, so its hours were limited.

The jacuzzi room was nice, and the kitchen had salt and pepper. The motel is right in the middle of town, which is super convenient. Parking outside is free on weekends and after 4pm on weekdays. During paid weekday hours it wasn't too much trouble to move the car further down the road for free parking. One thing seemed odd: we got just one sachet of laundry powder for the whole stay, and had to buy more.

The studio had loads of space, a kitchenette, a large bathroom with washer and dryer, and a big, very comfortable bed. It's centrally located, parking was easy, and the staff were lovely. Highly recommend.

I arrived very late at night and was glad someone was still at the counter to check me in. The hotel was clean and in an excellent location. There isn't daytime parking, but overnight there's no enforcement, so several spots are available if you're willing to get up early.
