The view from the camping area was outstanding, and the basic facilities were clean. The owners’ father was looking after the house and business while they were on vacation. He was friendly and showed us to the paddock turned campsite. The sheep and wekas kept us company, and we slept well. We’d certainly recommend it. We needed somewhere to park the van near Russell without paying $40 for an unpowered site. The other two Russell parks were asking that much. The holiday park a 10min walk from downtown Queenstown was $40 per night, and the two Russell parks have no business charging that much. You’re in RUSSELL. Rant over.

The owner went out of their way to make us feel welcome and was very friendly. We parked our Campervan here for the night, and the price seemed fair compared with other options in town. The basic facilities are kept very clean. A shower costs $2, and you can stay as long as you need. The water is very hot. Thanks!

After a day exploring, this was a perfect retreat. The views are breathtaking, there’s plenty of space, and it’s a short drive into Russel.

The proprietor was welcoming and very friendly. The site is basic but adequate and good value for money. With 10 units, it would probably feel crowded.

The owners were friendly and kept the spa pool hot. It’s a good getaway spot, with a private outlook and uninterrupted views.
